Tennessee Bank & Trust names new Chief Financial Officer

NASHVILLE, TN – Tennessee Bank & Trust today announced the hire of Seth McGill as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. McGill fills the role previously held by Barbara Zipperian, who helped lead the bank through a de novo in 2017 and recently entered retirement.

McGill brings a depth of banking and accounting experience to his new role. Prior to joining Tennessee Bank & Trust, he served as Senior Vice President and Controller for Franklin Synergy Bank in Franklin, TN, a role he held since 2012. Previously, he was a manager with the accounting firm of Maggart & Associates, P.C.

A native Tennessean and lifelong resident, Seth is a graduate of Tennessee Technological University and a certified public accountant. He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and Tennessee Society of CPAs.
